Facts about the forest dormouse
A new distribution locality for the Forest Dormouse, Dryomys nitedula, is reported from Ashrafiat Al Wade in the Barada River valley, northwest of Damascus.
The Forest dormouse (Dryomys nitedula) is also widely spread in the country, but much restricted and mosaic in comparison with the Fat Dormice.
The forest dormouse is expected to disappear in the Unterengadin.
