Australian reticulate swellshark

Once thought to be the same species as the reticulated swellshark of Vietnam and Hainan, the Australian reticulate swellshark was described as a separate species by William White and David Ebert in a 2008 Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation publication.

The Australian reticulate swellshark lives in the bathypelagic, marine, depth range 294 - 420 m environment.
