Bull sculpin

The Bull sculpin lives in the demersal, marine, depth range 11 - 256 m environment.

I originally mistook this bull sculpin ( Enophrys taurina ) for the very similar buffalo sculpin ( Enophrys bison ). The latter is commonly seen by divers in the Pacific Northwest, but would have been quite unusual to see in Carmel Bay. More
