Blue-crowned Racquet-tail - There are three or four subspecies:
Green Racquet-tailed Parrot - Males entirely yellow-green, with paler underparts and head. The two central tail feathers are elongated with bare shafts and terminated with black rackets. Females are generally darker and less yellowish, while the bare tail shafts are shorter. Juveniles do not have rackets at the tail. Total length is about 29 centimeters.
Buru Racquet-tailed Parrot - The Buru Racket-tail is a mainly green parrot about 32 cm long. The beak is blackish and lighter at the base, and the long undertail-coverts are yellow. The adult male has blue upper-parts from the back of its head to mid-back and which extends into the upper surfaces of the forewings. The female has a small area of blue on the nape. Juveniles do not have racket-shaped tail feathers. The male juvenile has a little blue on the nape and the female juvenile has all-green upper-parts.
Luzon Racquet-tail - Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montanes. It is threatened by habitat loss.
Blue-headed Racquet-tail - It is 27–28 cm, basically green with a bright, light blue head, blue underwings and, in the male, bluish breast. The beak is bluish gray and iris is yellowish.
Golden-mantled Racquet-tail - Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montanes.
Sulu Racquet-tailed Parrot - Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical mangrove forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.
Mindanao Racquet-tailed Parrot - Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. It is becoming rare due to habitat loss.
