Genus Tauraco
Bannerman's Turaco - Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montanes. It is threatened by habitat loss.
Knysna Turaco - This species lays two eggs in a shallow platform nest made from sticks and placed in a tree or clump of creepers.

Yellow-billed Turaco - The Yellow-billed Turaco is a species of bird in the Musophagidae family. It is found in Angola, Cameroon, Republic of the Congo, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, Liberia, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone.
Green Turaco - These birds, often inconspicuous in the treetops, are 43 cm long, including a long tail. Their plumage is green except for the small but thick red bill and red and white eye patches. They have a green crest. In flight the Guinea Turaco's crimson primary flight feathers contrast with the green plumage.
Purple-crested Turaco - This bird has a purple coloured crest above a green head, a red ring around their eyes, and a black bill. The neck and chest are green and brown. The rest of the body is purple, with red flight feathers.
Tauraco schuetti - 40 cm; ranging in weight from 199-272 g. Adult similar to Green Turaco, distinguished by small all black bill and rounded whitish crest. It lays two eggs in a platform of twigs around 3 or 5 metres above the ground. Both the male and female defend a territory and share with incubation duties.
