the name Peckoltia vittata is used not only for this species but also for some others, which do not even belong to the genus Peckoltia. L15 counts as identically with Peckoltia vittata, perhaps also L209 and L211 are local morphs. More
Peckoltia Vittata is a cave spawner and does so in captivity. Although many hobbyists have had their fish spawn in community tanks or spawning tanks, there has not been any widespread aquaculture production of this fish. More
