Spiny-eel

Notacanthus chemnitzii, or the Snub-nosed spiny eel, is a member of the family Notacanthidae, the deep-sea spiny eels, which are not true eels .

The Spiny-eel lives in the benthopelagic, marine, depth range 125 - 3285 m , usually 125 - 1000 m environment.
