Habits: Lord Derby's parakeets normally act in small groups and they act in pairs in mating seasons. They build their nests in holes of trees. Birds produced in high mountain areas will fly to the South or low altitude river valleys to spend winter in autumn. The upper bill of male parakeets is red and the low bill is black.
