The adult Red-cheeked Parrot has a height of 25-cm (10 in.). The length of its body is approximately eight inches, and its wing span is usually between 135-155 mm (5-6 in.) The general plumage of the male bird is bright green, with a bright red face. There are also various other colors found on the bird, but only in small patches on specific body parts.
