Family Orthonychidae

Ifrita - The Blue-capped Ifrita is placed as the only member of the genus Ifrita, which is itself placed in the family Cinclosomatidae.

Melampitta - The two melampittas are pitta-like birds that have entirely black plumage and strong long legs.

Orthonyx - The Lesser Melampitta may also belong here.
