Eumyias albicaudatus - The breeding season last from March to April. It nests in a hole in a bank or amongst rocks and lays 3 eggs.

Eumyias sordidus - This species is an endemic resident breeder in the hills of central Sri Lanka.
Eumyias thalassinus - This species was earlier placed in the genus Muscicapa and it has been suggested that it is closer to the Niltava flycatchers.
