The Lesser Noddy, Anous tenuirostris, is smaller and slimmer then the Brown Noddy and has a very long narrow beak. Lesser Noddies nest in the southeast season, from April to October, always in trees, building platform nests. Feeding in flocks, they fly within a few metres of the water and swoop to pick small fish and squid from just beneath the surface. More
