Ripley's Fruit Dove

Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is threatened by habitat loss. In fact, there have been no recorded sightings of it since 1953; it may or may not be extinct.

The Ripley's Fruit Dove is classified as Critically Endangered (CR), facing an extremely high risk of extinction in the wild.
