Mongolian Song Thrush

A recent molecular study places the Chinese Thrush's closest relatives as the similarly plumaged European species, the Song Thrush and the Mistle Thrush , all three species early offshoots from the main Turdus radiation around the world.

The Mongolian Song Thrush is classified as Least Concern. Does not qualify for a more at risk category. Widespread and abundant taxa are included in this category.
