The Black-headed Sibia (Heterophasia desgodinsi) is a bird species in the family Timaliidae. In former times it was often included with the Dark-backed Sibia in H. melanoleuca. Black-headed Sibia for Heterophasia melanoleucaH. melanoleuca which they consider conspecific with H. desgodinsi , but C. R.
