Yellow-throated Euphonia at this locale, or anywhere else, in Costa Rica. I am familiar with Yellow-throated Euphonia from Mexico, and we did definitely see Yellow-crowned at Carara and Tarcol (dark throats). I agree that my recording doesn't sound exactly like the recording of Yellow-crowned you pointed me to, but it doesn't sound a lot like the other Yellow-throate Euphonia vocalizations in the XC collection either.
