Yellow-green Bush Tanager

The Yellow-green Bush-tanager is a species of bird in the Thraupidae family. It is found in Colombia and Ecuador. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montanes. It is threatened by habitat loss.

The Yellow-green Bush Tanager is classified as Vulnerable (VU), considered to be facing a high risk of extinction in the wild.

A specimen of the Yellow-green Bush Tanager collected in 1972 was the first Colombian and third known specimen since the previous two taken in Ecuador in 1935, and the species has not been reported since.
