The Roraiman Antbird is a species of bird in the Thamnophilidae family. Until recently, it was considered a subspecies of the Spot-winged Antbird, but based on differences in voice and plumage it has been recommended that they are treated as separate species. As presently defined, the Roraiman Antbird includes the subspecies obscura.
The Schistocichla saturata is classified as Least Concern. Does not qualify for a more at risk category. Widespread and abundant taxa are included in this category.
