STUB-TAILED antbird skulking in the undergrowth was seen well by some (ahem, Kathy) and briefly (ie: not as well!) by most of the rest of us. More mixed flocks provided PACIFIC ANTWREN, BLACK-STRIPED WOODCREEPER, and YELLOW-TUFTED DACNIS, and from the canopy tower we picked up a PLUMBEOUS KITE as it perched briefly in a tall cecropia. We all enjoyed the antics of a lek of WHITE-BEARDED MANAKINS as they snapped, crackled, and popped in full view. More
