bird at Caraca is the endemic Serra Antwren, which can usually be found along the trails in the reserve. Other good birds include Yellow-browed Woodpecker, Scalloped Antbird, White-breasted Tapaculo, Gray-backed Tachuri, Drab-breasted Bamboo-Tyrant, Green-backed Becard, Cinereous Warbling-Finch, Uniform Finch, and Pale-throated Serra-Finch.
