Todays post is Black-headed Weaver (male) captured in Kenya. This guy was photographed in hotel area in Ambroseli, handheld with my old 20D @ 400mm. It was deep shadow and flash was used to bring more details. The Black-headed is represented in Kenya by 2 very distinctive subspecies (some authorities consider these to be incipient species). More
