The Saffron-crested Tyrant-manakin (Neopelma chrysocephalum) is a species of bird in the Pipridae family, the manakins. It is found in Brazil, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname, Venezuela, and Colombia; also northern Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical dry shrubland. It's a small short-tailed manakin, with a light yellowish breast; it has an overall appearance very similar to a flycatcher, and is named for the color of its saffron yellow crest. More
