Black-winged Oriole was soon found and Western Nicator was heard. Several barbets were in the area and a pair of Mottled Spinetails was seen overhead. A Gabon Woodpecker was our next new species and a group of Maxwell's Black Weavers were found in the treetops. Chestnut-winged Starlings were seen and Emerald Cuckoo was heard singing nearby for a long time but could not be located. Fraser's Forest Flycatchers arrived in a small group and a White-headed Woodhoopoe flew past. More
