The Lagden's Bush-shrike is a species of bird in the Malaconotidae family. It is found in Democratic Republic of the Congo, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Liberia, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, and Uganda. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montanes. It is threatened by habitat loss.

Lagden's Bushshrike, Ruwenzori Batis, heaps of sunbirds and woodpeckers and hosts of other tantalising possibilities. The Ugandan Wildlife Authority has developed a partnership with local communities to encourage development through conservation, this enables local people to improve their standard of living through better agricultural practices, thus reducing pressure on forest resources.
