The Black-capped Swallow was once thought to be very rare in Honduras, but we have found it to be fairly common here and there are nesting colonies along road cuts. From September through December the roadsides are covered with thousands of blooming wildflowers of many species and the show of hummingbirds is quite spectacular. We will spend most of the day in the highlands and have lunch in the field. More
