Not long thereafter a beautiful Yellow-throated Serin perched out in the morning sun on the crater rim. We started heading back down enjoying Abysinnian Yellow-rumped serin on the way. After stopping off in a local village for some cold Cokes we visited the nearby oasis where we were treated to Defasa Waterbuck and a big group of Hamadrayas Baboons. Bird-wise the rest of the day produced Abyssinian Scimitarbill, our first Kori Bustard, Grey Wren Warbler and a group of over 10 Egyptian Vultures. More
