Cab-nary Island Chaffinch

This bird is found only in the highlands of the islands of Tenerife and Gran Canaria. It has two subspecies, F. t. tydea from Tenerife and F. t. polatzeki from Gran Canaria.

The Cab-nary Island Chaffinch is classified as Near Threatened (NT), is close to qualifying for or is likely to qualify for a threatened category in the near future.
