Southern Tree Pie

The white of the head and body makes it easy to distinguish from the sympatric Rufous Treepie. This tends to be found in more dense forest and is less associated with human habitation than the Rufous Treepie.

The Southern Tree Pie is classified as Least Concern. Does not qualify for a more at risk category. Widespread and abundant taxa are included in this category.
