Levaillant's Cisticola

Levaillant's Cisticola is a resident breeder in eastern Africa from Kenya to eastern South Africa. This cisticola is common in reedbeds, sedges, rank grass, and similar wet habitats usually near rivers or dams.

The Levaillant's Cisticola (Cisticola tinniens) is also known as Tinkling Cisticola by some authors. The species ranges from Angola and Kenya into South Africa. It is a locally common bird usually associated with marsh and wetland habitat.
