White-winged Apalis

The White-winged Apalis is a species of bird in the Cisticolidae family. It is found in Kenya, Malawi, Mozambique, and Tanzania. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montanes. It is threatened by habitat loss.

The White-winged Apalis is classified as Vulnerable (VU), considered to be facing a high risk of extinction in the wild.

White-winged Apalises were not in evidence, although we did see Black-headed Apalis, Mountain Greenbul, and a flying Livingstone's Turaco.
