Chloropsis kinabaluensis

The Bornean Leafbird , also known as the Kinabalu Leafbird, is a species of bird in the Chloropseidae family. It is found in humid forests in northern Borneo. It has traditionally been considered a subspecies of the Blue-winged Leafbird , but differ in measurements and morphology, the female Borneon Leafbird having a distinctive male-like plumage. The distribution of the two are known to approach eash other, but there is no evidence of intergradation.

The Chloropsis kinabaluensis is classified as Least Concern. Does not qualify for a more at risk category. Widespread and abundant taxa are included in this category.
