I've noticed that Asian Short-toed Lark (Calandrella cheelensis) is split from Lesser Short-toed Lark (Calandrella rufescens). I know that these two species have recently been lumped by a number of authorities including James F Clements and the AERC. Traditionally the birds of the central Anatolian Plateau of Turkey were regarded as aharonii which seems to have been regarded as a race of Lesser Short-toed Lark by Clements (at least), and was not regarded as a race of Asian Short-toed Lark.
