Uniform Crake is the rarest of all birds; a rail of the deep forest. This little-known species has been reported recently from the streamsides around the Canopy Lodge, an area from which the species was unknown at the publication of Ridgely's Birds of Panama. Any sighting of this secretive species in central Panama is noteworthy. Return to Bird Species Watchlist Copyright More
