Gabon Coucal was spotted crouched in the road. We stopped to investigate, but it had disappeared into the undergrowth. Some nearby rustling caused me to investigate, turning out to be a White-backed Night Heron. At a stream crossing Sakkie spotted a White-bellied Kingfisher, which regrettably flew off before the rest of us could see it. Not long after Dollyann yelped from the back: “Stop, stop!
