Upupa marginata

The Madagascar Hoopoe is a subspecies of Hoopoe in the Upupidae family. It is often considered to be treated as a separate species to the Hoopoe due to its vocalisations and small differences in plumage, but is otherwise similar to the rest of the species. It is endemic to Madagascar.
