Though, the pacific reef-egret was fishing its supper in full backlighting, in this vibrant sunlight. Well, sunlight reflecting off water could give me two options: a shot with less bright water’s reflection and a partial silhouette in one of heron’s wings, and an intense backlighting at the other wing. (between f/6- 8) – or I could meter the bright water, and overexposure by two stops to bring up the brightness up (lighter color) to a natural looking level, and much details on both wings. More
