It is found in Aruba, Barbados, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Martinique, Netherlands Antilles, Panama, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago and Venezuela. White-tailed Nightjar may in fact be relatively common in select open areas of the Pacific slope, but it is seldom-reported in any forum.
