Collocalia vulcanorum

This swiftlet was formerly sometimes placed in the genus Aerodramus as Aerodramus brevirostris. Two of its five subspecies are frequently given full species status, C. b. rogersi as the Indochinese Swiftlet, Collocalia rogersi, and the isolated Javan form C. b. vulcanorum as the Volcano Swiftlet, Collocalia vulcanorum.

The Collocalia vulcanorum is classified as Near Threatened (NT), is close to qualifying for or is likely to qualify for a threatened category in the near future.
