These forests are dominated by ??hi?a lehua (Metrosideros polymorpha) and koa (Acacia koa) or lama (Diospyros sandwicensis), while plants associated with Smallflower ?Aiea include wiliwili (Erythrina sandwicensis) and uhiuhi (Caesalpinia kavaiensis).
