Golden slippers

Paphiopedilum armeniacum is found from western Yunnan province in China to northern Myanmar, at elevations from 1000 to 2000 meters. It grows on limestone cliffs and slopes. The habitat is subjected to constant light fog in the winter and heavy rain in the summer.
