Cynanchum bifidum

Status rationale for Cynanchum bifidum: A recently described herb or vine endemic to Ecuador, where it has been collected only once, in 1988, in cloudforest 12 km north of Nieves, Azuay province. The locale is not inside Ecuador's system or protected areas, but the species could potentially occur in Cajas and Podocarpus national parks. Collected with flowers in November.
