Rhipsalis cereoides

Rhipsalis cereoides Backeberg and Voll is triangle-shaped, up to about two-thirds of an inch thick. It can grow somewhat upright because its thick 4- to 6-inch-long stem segments are strong enough to support upward growth to a point. It also easily grows semi-erect with its branches growing outward. Sometimes it is four-sided. White flowers may grow in clusters of from two to four and can be three-quarters of an inch across when fully pened. Fruits tend toward pink. From Brazil near Rio. More
