Sorbus tianschanica and Sorbus sibirica are two species of genus of Rosaceae in Xinjiang.By extracting total flavonoids from the different parts of the plants and comparising quantity, we discovered that two kinds of Sorbus trees contained high flavonoid ingredients. The results of experiment showed that the total flavonoids content of Sorbus sibirica's fruit comparing to Sorbus tianschanica 's was high, but the flavonoids content of Sorbus sibirica's branches and leaves comparing to Sorbus tianschanica 's to was low.
