Prosopis abbreviata - Prosopis abbreviata, commonly known as the Algarrobillo Espinoso, is a species of flowering plant in the pea family, Fabaceae, that is endemic to Argentina. It is threatened by habitat loss.

Prosopis affinis - Prosopis affinis is a species of flowering tree in the pea family, Fabaceae, that is native to Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay. Common names include Algarrobillo, Espinillo, Ibopé-Morotí, and Ñandubay. It is threatened by habitat loss.

Argentine Mesquite - Prosopis alba is a medium-sized tree, measuring between 5 and 15 m , in height and 1 m in diameter, though such tall specimens occur very rarely at present. The trunk is short and the treetop is globular, sometimes reaching 10 m in diameter. The bark is thin, brown-grayish in colour, with streaks, and it has tanning properties.

Mesquite - Prosopis kuntzei is a South American leguminous tree species that inhabits the westernmost Gran Chaco forests covering areas of Argentina, Bolivia, and Paraguay, where it acts as natural component. It has also been able to colonize the nearby pasture sabanas. It's commonly referred to as itín, palo mataco, carandá or barba de tigre. It is adapted to arid climate, but can also survive flooded ground for a long time.

Algarrobo Amarillo - The tree blossoms in September and October, and gives fruit from November to March. It grows together with the vinalillo tree and under the tops of the palm tree Copernicia alba. Like the other species of this genus, it tolerates arid climate, but can also survive in flooded ground for a long time. The heartwood is dark brown and very heavy, considered noble by local carpenters, also weather resistant, it presents streaks.
