Coprosma oliveri

Coprosma oliveri has clear characteristics implying wind pollination: small, green, inconspicuous flowers; long filaments; exposed anthers; dry, small pollen grains of the male flowers; and long, feathery, and exposed stigmata of the female flowers. The pollen quantity per flower is high. The very high P/O (assuming a 1:1 plant sex ratio, and equal number of flowers per plant) is also a strong indication of wind pollination. As is typical, all the Robinsonia are dioecious. More
