Facts about the genus Naemorhedus, the serows

Island species of serows are the Japanese serow (Nemorhaedus crispus) on Honshu, Shikoku Island and Kyushu (Japan), and the Taiwanese serow (Nemorhaedus swinhoei) in Taiwan.

Serows are very territorial, extremely agile, have a semi-lunar curved horn, and have dark brown fur.
