Ridge scaled rattail

The ridge scaled rattail, Macrourus carinatus, is a rattail of the genus Macrourus, found in the Great Southern Ocean at depths of between 200 and 1,200 m.

The Ridge scaled rattail lives in the bathydemersal, non-migratory, marine, depth range 200 - 1200 m, usually 500 - 800 m environment.
