The Kyushu bitterling, Rhodeus atremius, is a temperate freshwater fish belonging to the Acheilognathinae sub-family of the Cyprinidae family. It originates on Kyushu Island in Japan. It was originally described as Acanthorhodeus atremius by Jordan & Thompson in 1914. More
