The horneyhead chub, once plentiful in the Papio, has been driven out of the creek by pollutants and sediment. Wildlife like deer and raccoons help to balance the ecosystem of the creek. Birds, including the crane, require a balanced ecosystem to thrive. More

For Chub there are only Creek and Horneyhead Chub in Huronia (a small peninsula on the SE part of Georgian Bay, Lake Simcoe sits SE of Huronia). At least there should only be Creek and Hornyhead Chub. More
