Elegant moray

The Elegant moray lives in the reef-associated, marine, depth range 92 - 450 m environment.

The elegant moray, Gymnothorax elegans, was recently collected from Landers Reef off Park Rynie in 40 m by Allan Connell. This rare deep-water moray is another new record for South Africa. More

The elegant Moray Place was designed by noted architect Alexander 'Greek' Thomson (1817-75) and much of the district was designated a conservation area in 1973. Designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh (1868 - 1928) lived here, at 27 Regent Park Square. More
